Review on 🌡️ Mishimoto MMTS-RAM-94H High-Temperature Thermostat for Dodge Ram Cummins 5.9L (1994-1998) Silver by Mike Roe

Bought and put on. The truck's temperature gauge was barely removed from the cold rod. I ordered more, it came in an already opened package as if it had been sent back. I put my old Cummins 190 and a new one in a pot of water. This one opened at 190, Cummins opened at 193. I want the warmest, highest quality thermostat I can find. I put my old Cummins back in. I checked the first one I bought, it opened at 165. I'll stick with Cummins, I don't trust them. I'm sure the opened one was still fine but since the first one I bought was crap I'll just stick with the ones I know are good quality. As it stands the quality is good. Cummins has a gasket that fits all around and there are 2 gaskets in the body. I'm guessing this system was half Dodge and half Cummins, I don't like all the seals but I have to assume the engineers know more than me. Since it is not padded on the edge, it takes up less space in the suitcase and water can penetrate there. All I know is that aftermarket units tend to be less mature than OEM.
