Installed on CRV 1997-2001.

In my case, the side brackets were not required. The original radio mounts worked perfectly. I just used the front fairing and wiring harness. Everything went great. Includes specific instructions on which protrusions need to be removed to fit your vehicle model. It appears to be a higher quality plastic than the kit I've used before.
