Review on 🍒 Lorell Cherry Corner Desk - 36x42x29.5 Inches by Becky Gallegos

Overall I like this product. But it's made of very heavy chipboard. The package is stamped "Heavy - two to lift", but let's face it, there's only one man in the UPS truck. Therefore, it's almost impossible for him to handle this desk-sized thing without bumping into the sides or corners. And of course the most important part, the desktop, is at the bottom, so you have to unpack the whole box to inspect this part, which of course is damaged. Because it's chipboard, there's no way to fix it, and the particles just disintegrate along with the damaged laminate without holding everything together. I come back? Well, I unpacked the whole box, all the foam in the corners was destroyed, if not on delivery then on removing all the parts from the box. So I can't repackage it for a return. The damage is in the back corner of this corner table. It is obscured by the monitor I plan to place on top of it. Am I tagged? Yes. But will I return? Not worth the trouble. The pieces look fine when finished, aside from the damage. The processing was actually very good. Although it was not easy to assemble due to the size and weight of the parts, all the holes matched perfectly, all the hardware was there with spare parts. I note that I ordered three pieces of this line and two arrived damaged. I was able to exchange another damaged part as this damage was in the top corner when I opened the box and repackaging was not a problem.
