I'm updating this review and knocking off a couple of stars after using the keyboard for about six months. The issue with the placement of the shift key has continued to be a problem. I never got used to it. Many times when I meant to capitalize a letter, I would instead hit the arrow key and move the cursor to another place in the text, where I'd type a few letters before noticing and having to go back and correct it. Very annoying. I will make sure my next keyboard has the shift in the normal location.The keyboard has started inserting the letter H at random times when I'm writing. Another big annoyance that causes me to stop and correct.I need a replacement keyboard and am thinking of going with the Brydge, which also gives the laptop functionality. It has the shift key in the right place. But it costs twice as much and I've read about some issues.Here's my original review:This is exactly what I wanted. Makes my iPad 9.7 2017 (not Pro) into a mini laptop that I can easily use balanced on my knee or lap while sitting anywhere. Right now I'm sitting in the car. I just got it, popped the iPad in, paired it in a second, and started typing. There are a couple things I don't like, such as the placement of the shift key on the right -- its below the return key and its very easy to hit return by accident. But I expect I'll get used to it. It looks very nice and feels solid. The screen is held firmly at whatever angle I put it, and the whole thing doesn't topple over backward like I've heard some others do. The keyboard is heavy enough to keep it upright. My opinion may change after using it for a few days, but right out of the box, it's just ideal. Love the look and feel of it, and I can type quickly and accurately with the nice big, responsive keys. And as an added bonus, revain delivered it free (Prime) in 2 days, on the Sunday of a holiday weekend. Impressive.
