The Key to Really Sharp Waterstone Tools

There is an amazing video on YouTube of William Ng and his approach to sharpening. A Nagura stone like this is the key to finer grit waterstones if you're actually mud polishing a ground edge. It works! Unless you're a carpenter, you might not enjoy a really sharp tool. But if you're a carpenter and you like the idea of using a plane or chisel to make shavings, shavings so fine that they become translucent, then this Nagura Stone will help you if you're following the water stone path. a really sharp instrument is a joy. Who among us has enough joy?
