    Type of review

I have been using a similar sharpener with ceramic cylinders (stones) for several years now. It had everything I needed from a sharpener in the kitchen: in one motion I took it out, twisted the lid, dumped 2 cylinders on my hand, put the box on the table, stones into the holes, pressed the soap dispenser (fairy), hand into the water, greased the stones and the knife - All. Now I can talk about anything and even keep an eye on dumplings or other cooking and sharpen knives at the same time…

    Pros
    • Design, simplicity, materials, convenience, pleasure from work, speed of completing tasks.
    Cons
    • If you know why it (this sharpener), why and how it works, then they are not. She is the epitome of what design should be. Large kitchen utensils are not as pleasant to sharpen as small ones, but you get used to them.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I have a lot of knives in my collection and in this regard, I needed a good manual sharpener. This brand is familiar to me, I settled on this model, since it has a low affordable price. The sharpener is very comfortable to sharpen. I sink different knives with it, sharpening is completely satisfied.

Ease of use with a good result captivates: I have only been using it for a couple of weeks: for 5-10 minutes and an average kill, the knife cuts tomatoes into transparent plates without pressing (far from a razor, but sharp enough). A week later - already only 2 minutes for editing (if you do not chop bones on a steel board or some other perversions). For the kitchen - a real find.

    Pros
    • Ease of use and good sharpening quality, really affordable for a housewife. Fast and good result for the kitchen.
    Cons
    • It is a little more difficult to work with the chef (long, and the rods are compact - knives with a blade length of more than 120-140mm require accuracy).

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

It is recommended to buy an eraser for cleaning ceramic rods from the same manufacturer. Without it, ceramics become salted after some time and work much worse. Pros below: Simplicity and sharpness. You may not be able to sharpen a dangerous razor, but a non-expert can get a result that allows you to remove text from it without cutting through a newspaper sheet. Its cons: The holes for the rods look like they were drilled with a blunt drill. Do manufacturers of sharpeners really have blunt…

    Works perfectly. for sharpener

Bought to sharpen my knife collection. He does a great job and in a very short time. As a rule, it didn't create an edge thin enough to pull hair and shave, but it certainly created enough edge to be more than necessary. I've used it on various grades of stainless steel as well as high carbon steel and it's definitely worked (much better than breaking my tools with a carbide sharpener, that's for sure). then get it It's extremely economical and gives you better margin than you really need.

    Works well and easily

I bought 2 new knives and this sharpener makes them very sharp (cuts paper sharp). The first one I got (from another seller) had poorly drilled holes for the sharpening rod so I returned it. Others have complained about this defect. Everything was drilled correctly this time. Very easy to use and I mostly use thin ceramic sticks. But if a tiny groove forms on the edge, I use diamond sharpening rods first. I've tried using a classic sharpening stone, but it takes a lot of skill. It works without

    • There are other interesting options.

The holes for storing the sticks were not drilled properly in the box.

I have not used this product yet because I can't get over the rod storage holes not being drilled properly, allowing all the rods to be stored in the box at the same time as intended. The rod storage holes are not drilled parallel to each other. So if you try to insert two bars into the holes, they will bump into each other, preventing both bars from being inserted into the holes and closing the box. This is a very simple concept, but not properly implemented. I guess I should have looked at…

    Surprisingly effective!

Based on several negative reviews I read about this sharpening system, I was prepared to find some quality control issues. But I was impressed with the result: the sharpening rods fit snugly in their corner holes with no wobbling. To get to the bars, which easily fit into storage spaces, the wooden end cap had to be twisted with great effort. I was able to quickly tweak a chef's knife and a few pocket knives with a slight but noticeable improvement in blade sharpness (all blades were already…

    Nice set, great for learning

I'm relatively new to sharpening. I have bought so many sharpeners over the years and have never felt comfortable sharpening my more expensive knives. I read about it on some Blade forums and took a chance. So far I've mainly used them on my cheaper knives, but I've tried one of my more expensive, large 7" blades. My greatest joy is that even though I'm a beginner, I don't seem to have damaged the blades. There are some good YouTube videos on how to use this. The most important thing is to keep

So easy and convenient even a baby can handle it!

.but seriously, keep children under 10 away from knives. This sharpener is amazing. Words cannot express how much better and more effective it is than tiny pull-through pocket sharpeners. To the point where I will never use one of these again unless the weight of the backpack forces me to rely on it. Simple and intuitive to use, it seemed to sharpen my knives well, even those made from heavier gauge steel which is harder to sharpen. It's lightweight and the side pivots to reveal four rod…

A quick way to sharpen a very dull knife

I'm obsessed with getting my knives razor sharp, but sometimes I need something more portable than my larger diamond stone, ceramic shaft and belt strap. I have several Lansky boxes with two (coarse and fine) ceramic rods. This set is designed for situations where you have a really dull blade and want to sharpen faster than you would need for rough ceramics. This "set" is missing a crude ceramic wand, so I hope Lansky will one day create a box that will hold all three sets of wands. Follow the…

    Quick, Easy, and Effective

I've tried different types of knife sharpening systems, including different types of stones and electric sharpeners. Until I bought this Lansky system, I had never been able to really sharpen any of my knives. Not that I have a collection of high quality knives. Most of my knives are budget folding knives and a few camping knives that I bought more for price than quality. Inexpensive knives, however, should be able to sharpen to a nice sharp edge, even if that sharpness doesn't last long with…

    imperfect but very effective sharpener

I had a hard time with these sharpeners. First I bought the ceramic version of the 4 rod box. He doesn't have diamond sharpeners for the middle class. Not only did it turn out exactly like that version, but one of the medium-grit rods had a permanent drill that rendered it useless, so it went back. He also had very wobbly rods, more on that now. This diamond sharpener has some issues that all Lansky boxes have and that many people have commented on. The poles dangle in the holes. This is not…
