Excellent mandrel for the price

Purchased to use with 3" cut-off wheels on my straight grinder. For that it works perfectly! At full revs, there doesn't seem to be any noticeable vibration. The screw on top holds the rims/wheels in place very well. Be careful not to lose the small washer that goes in between as it helps hold things in place. 1/4" shank fits true to size and fits snugly and snugly on my angle grinder. Would buy again!

Not good. Possibly Hazardous

Used for 2 minutes maximum. It starts to loosen. The solution was to first insert a washer with a hole the same diameter as the washer and then insert the cut washer to increase friction to keep the bolt from loosening. If this problem were fixed this would be a 5 star product.

Runout - custom

The first one I received had a significant head bang. So much so that during operation the edge of the cutting disc bounced up/down and the edge of the disc ripped.The replacement is much better and doesn't jump when running but there is still a bit of vibration and wobble.I gave 3 stars because the price is good and the second one is serviceable.I also contacted the manufacturer but it it's been many weeks and they still haven't responded to my message EDIT: I believe the runout is caused by…
