Description of Merit M 9 2 5 Extra Shank Length Cartridge Diameter

Extra-shank-length mandrel mounts cartridge and spiral rolls onto a grinder that accepts a 1/4"-diameter shank and has an extended shank and 4" overall length for hard-to-reach applications. Fits cartridge and spiral rolls with a 1/8"-diameter center hole. Steel provides strength and extended tool life.

Disappointing Quality of Abrasive Attachment

This product was below my expectations. Although the extra shank length was helpful, the cartridge diameter was not a good match for my needs. It did not provide a smooth AND even surface as described. Unfortunately, I wasted my money on this subpar industrial and scientific accessory..

High-Quality Abrasive Accessories

When I tried this product I was impressed with the extra shank length and cartridge diameter which allowed me to work with ease.The quality of the product exceeded my expectations, making my experience efficient and comfortable. Industrial and Scientific grade materials ensure long-lasting usage. However, the price point might be too high for those on a tight budget. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who values high-quality abrasive accessories..

very durable

I have purchased several kits from Harbor Freighting which included several sanding drums and a couple of these mandrels to use. The tip of the port cargo mandrels broke without fail in less than 5 minutes. I ended up buying this mandrel as a replacement to see if it would be any better and it definitely was! It took several hours of bullying before he finally gave in and broke the tip. Highly recommend buying if you use for head transfer or something else.
