I hate to give a negative review but it didn't work for me. I'm probably an active user. I've been using it almost every day for almost a year. It takes about 4 hours to charge at a very low volume, about 4-7 inches from my ear. I never had 8 hours; barely 6 in new condition, with low volume/power consumption. I don't use it more than 3 hours a night, but I usually charge it every day. Two days of listening is too exhausting for me. However, I didn't bother deducting stars because of the battery. After about four or five months, the neoprene material on the back (which helps reproduce bass better than most small phone speaker caps, and I have a few) began to come loose. Now, after almost 11 months, it is very loose and not attached enough to the device. The fact that it's very loose affects how this speaker connects to my phone. An inconspicuous piece is stuck between the connector and my phone. I only notice the problem when my phone's speaker drops out. Now I have to use a method where I stretch the material back from the connector before plugging it into my phone to make the right connection. It's no longer easy to insert, and if I forget to do that, the speaker falls off. As if the soft material had deteriorated. After about 6 months, the small neoprene cutout covering the micro USB charging port on the speaker came loose. As someone who uses it daily, I was neither surprised nor particularly disappointed. However, the consequences for me were very significant. The speaker has a red LED that lights up while charging and a blue LED when the speaker is on. With the micro-USB port covered, the indicator light was harmless enough. However, once the cover came off, so much blue LED light was revealed that I can now use this light as a low level flashlight, and in fact I sometimes use it for that when I get up at night during use. Speaker. The problem is that I can't turn off this light and I use it in bed at night to listen to conversational audio. It's bright enough to get in the way, and I have to press the speaker against my pillow so it doesn't get in the way of my spouse or me. Striking a delicate balance between listening to something at a low volume while falling asleep, setting a sleep timer in an audio app, and setting the volume low enough that I can hear something but still fall asleep, having something bright disrupt the entire process . I'll darken it with something like nail polish or a piece of tape. Another annoying bug that interrupts my nightly ritual is that it doesn't automatically turn off when the audio ends. This means the battery will continue to drain while the blue LED next to my face will remain lit. It should turn itself off after it stops receiving beeps. This is particularly annoying because it has a quirk that when I turn on the sound it turns off after about 2 minutes. But if I have to turn it off after the timer has disabled Audible, TuneIn, or PowerAmp, it stays on all night. I've often unplugged the speaker from my phone while half asleep, and after a few hours it was still on despite not being connected to anything. It must be turned off manually, otherwise it will not turn off. It worked flawlessly until I used it for about 6 months. Finally, I don't want to leave negative feedback, so I will do my best to contact the seller or the manufacturer. Maybe I got a lemon and so I don't want to hurt their sales because otherwise it would be a great product. In this case I wasted my precious time with the manufacturer and seller trying to find a way to contact them and found nothing. It probably didn't take me more than 20 minutes, but my time is valuable. I don't feel like I should spend more than three or four minutes on this but my results were negative and now there is an unnecessarily negative review for this product. This brings the overall negative experience of this speaker to five, not counting the exaggerated battery life. The material degrades and doesn't stay on the speaker, it causes connectivity issues, the micro USB cover came off turning the speaker into a flashlight that gets in the way in bed at night, it has to be turned off manually and I couldn't find any contact information for the Manufacturers and Vendors, After You Invest Time, Revain and the Internet. However, the sound is pretty good for the size and my needs and it still works.
