Before deciding to purchase this product I did a little research on leather conditioners and found that it met most needs. Lanolin and foot oil are some of the ingredients listed on the bottle that nourish the skin. I chose air conditioning at this point as I have a new car so the seats are pretty clean. Since the center of the seat is perforated leather, I didn't want the product getting into the small holes in the leather, so I watched a few YouTube videos on how to apply it. The trick is to apply a small amount of product to one side of a folded microfiber cloth and rub gently with the other side of the cloth to spread the product over the cloth, then gently move into the seats in a circular motion in one step rub. plate at once. I've found that less is more as it spreads out with a slight sheen. After about 5-10 minutes I buff it and most of the shine is gone but the leather looks fine. The smell, while not unpleasant, is unusual, which I think is to be expected from the skin softening ingredients of the oil and lanolin, it's a more natural smell, at least the smell wasn't masked by fragrance. I would buy this product again and maybe use an air purifier next time as both products work together.
