Review on Dell S2721HS: HD Ultra Thin Monitor with FreeSync and IPS Technology by Alan Ghosh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple monitor with amazing picture quality

Honestly, there isn't much review of the screen itself because it's perfect. Maybe a photo. I notice that the viewing angle is so wide that there's no color or image shift even if you look at it completely from the side. I sometimes stream videos on it (Revain Prime Video, NetFlix, etc.) and I might as well watch TV. I don't use it for gaming (I don't play shooters or anything in GTA) so I can't comment on that. The specs look good, but gamers are big fans of bleeding, halos, etc., so no opinions. I'll say the blacks are very black, which is fine, not the fancy dark brown/green/stained/smelly stuff. I had a SE2717H (predecessor of this) that died after running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for over two years. My other SE2717H is gaining momentum and is right next to this one. The picture is amazing, I love the IPS screen and I can work on it all day without eye strain. IPS is anything I tend to buy for myself or recommend to others. Now there are slightly better technologies but not for that much money, especially MY money.
