Very nice and fun to play with. Replace one of the batteries with a shiny copper coin or a wad of aluminum foil to act as a pass-through to power the LEDs with just 3VDC. They still shine, but with reduced brightness. Has been lit for over 24 hours and is still bright enough to use. Update: After 150 hours of use it's very, very dark, but still visible in a darkened room.

- Friendly hints: 1. Before replacing the lamp, pull the plug out of the socket or switch off the device. 2. Keep it away from children, children or infants and keep out of reach. 3. To avoid short circuits, never twist the 2 wires and keep them separate. 4. Check the required wattage or amps
