(Photo comparison of Picasso tile brands, Jumaga 3D tiles, IntreS tiles) The tiles are quite smooth and the strength of the magnets is comparable to tiles from other brands such as Picasso tiles and Jumaga tiles. (All 3 brands go well together!) I prefer raised tile edges they don't have them. However, the tile is nice and thick because it is double. This set contains a wide range of different items, more than any other set we own. I really like that it has many unique shapes and two wagons. My daughter loves making trains out of these! Overall this is a good buy and great value for the variety and quantity of tiles you get!
