I was looking for a nice tall narrow table for entryway decor when I came across this set. I thought - why not make two places! I'm always hosting friends and extra seats always come in handy. I originally intended to use it as a bar in the kitchen! It quickly became my temporary table (see photo) and eventually became perhaps the best bar table ever for two overlooking the valley (see photo!). I've gotten compliments from everyone who's seen it - it's perfect for a morning coffee break or a romantic dinner for two. heavy and made of high quality wood. The surface texture is perhaps my favorite feature (I jokingly rubbed it on my cheek when my friend finished assembling it). Super smooth/slightly textured surface with a great natural finish. Very easy to clean with a quick wipe. Again very light and versatile, I plan to use the table as a welcome entry point for my next dinner party, with two stools as side tables for cocktails. Definitely recommend this set!
