**UPDATE** Unfortunately, despite the great design, the silicone brush is simply not effective against dirt. Not enough friction to clean under the rim. I really wish it wasn't because I like how much more hygienic it is, but it doesn't really work for that purpose. I also have other silicone items, such as a brush, which are not suitable for bathroom tiles for the same reason. We're not using it at the moment.**** First test**** This is a pretty decent device, although maybe a little pricey. It's also a bit off-white, not very noticeable but good to know. We don't have a lot of storage space in our bathroom so I thought using a brush to keep the toilet clean would be a great solution but hidden. I pay more for a well thought out product and it fits. Can't comment on longevity as I've only been using it for a few weeks. I haven't had this problem but I would advise against using toilet bleach as it will most likely discolor.
