Review on Auto Meter 6937 Cobalt Digital Water Temp Gauge, 2 1/16 Inch by Andrew Grimes

The only negative I can say about this sensor is that the Cobalt series is SUPER bright. Yes, so bright that I had to apply 20% tint to the lens surfaces to darken them so they wouldn't distract me at night and cause my eyestrain! After that they were perfect. I can accurately monitor engine temperatures under heavy loads (towing, hills, hot weather, etc.) and have complete confidence in the sensor's accuracy. I checked the coolant temp with an infrared intake temp gauge and the gauge reads within 2 degrees Fahrenheit. I recommend this gauge much more than any "needle gauge" if accuracy is important to you.
