Review on Philips SDV2710/27 Passive Enhanced Digital Performance Antenna - Discontinued by Manufacturer: A Comprehensive Review and Alternatives by Ray Gist

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It really works - TV antennas

Small and unobtrusive. Approximately 6.25" tall, 6.5" wide and 1/2" thick when unfolded, not including 3ft bunny ears. If you're trying to set up VHF channels, I don't see how it could be any better than any other bunny. ears, but for UHF that's excellent. The HDHomeRun tuner allows me to easily and consistently receive 118 (mostly useless) channels with an antenna in the back of the apartment 20 feet from the nearest window, without too only going to broadcast towers 20 miles away. Previous antennas couldn't pick up more than 10 channels and had to be repositioned every time you changed channels. Language, shops and religious stations. For $14 I can't complain but you should know : - The cable is 6ft long and thin and connects to the antenna inside (see photo) You can't just replace it if you need a longer cable or if it's damaged - Bunny ears are weak but if the most of your can ale as my UHF channels are, you don't have to use your ears much. No mounting options. This item usually costs around $15, but some sellers at Revain are trying to get as much as $75. In that case, buy it elsewhere, wait for the price to drop, or buy something else.
