Review on MR.SIGA Blue Sponge Mop: Super Absorbent Head & Telescopic Handle for Effortless Cleaning by Traci Westhoff

Need something to replace my hard to use Casabella (awful thing!). I was skeptical about the material of the sponge (based on reviews) and the handle. It took some effort to screw the handle on, but it stays in place - you just have to screw it in enough times. I'm 5ft 7" so I think the handle could be longer - I have to bend down a bit. I am clean and have 2 long haired dogs. I deal with dirt and hair all the time - I wash every 2 days. I even have a steam cleaner. I wanted something I could disassemble instead of a complicated steam cleaner and heavy vacuum. Good points: 1) the mop head washes clean - clean water and doesn't leave disgusting like a regular sponge 2) the mop head is grooved - great for rinsing off sticky stains and picking up hair easily. The grooves also make cleaning easier. 3) Water is easy to squeeze out. I have hardwood floors so I don't like the mop head getting soaked. The instructions say "always keep moist". Does this mean you have to keep it in a bucket of water? Seems a bit strange to me, but ok. It was hard as rock when I first started using it, but soaking helped. I was afraid I would ruin it by not keeping it in the water.
