Review on Ovation 1000 Submersible Power Jet Filter: Maximize Water Flow with 265 GPH Efficiency! by Monica West

i have used many other filters on my turtle, mostly bought from local pet stores and none of them worked as well like this device! I currently use it in a 100 gallon tank and it filters it easily. When I dip my hand in the water, I can feel the water a little more than halfway to the other side of the tank, which is extremely impressive given the device's $35 price tag. The instructions were a little confusing, but once I saw the carrying case (carbon), the blank white tray and the lid, it all became clear. You place the tray in the device and then insert it into your tank with the nozzle of your choice (of which a bundle is included btw. Trust me there are 4-5 different nozzle options). I am currently using a nozzle. which also aerates the water, since in addition to the filter itself, they also contain a thin air hose for hanging the nozzle. My turtle tank has never been this clean and I haven't smelled the tank at all since I put this filter in. As for the noise level, it's so quiet I don't hear it running at all and do hear a faint buzzing from my top light on the tank. I can only recommend this filter! (As I was going to buy an expensive canister filter instead, but went with this one on a whim and gave it a try) Super happy!
