Excellent filter very satisfied best buy filter

I have a 100 gallon aquarium and this is my fourth filter for it. It works great and as long as I find new stuff it will probably be my filter forever. Cleaned a VERY dirty tank in about 48 hours and has kept it clean ever since. I am very happy with this purchase, excellent workmanship. Noise: This is one of the "loudest" filters I've ever had, but you won't notice it during a call or anything. It's just louder and more powerful than others I've tried. Performance: very strong, this is not for

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Nothing here

I have 2 of these for my 90 gallon and 1 for my 65 gallon and they are both incredibly clean. It is recommended to change the filter every month but it uses carbon much like a razor and can be used for up to 6 months without contaminating the water. If you rinse the sponge while cleaning the water, your water will be crystal clear. This filter is also completely silent, which is its best feature. I know there are bad reviews but I have lots of fish, my tank has a 3 foot siren and the water is…

I cleaned my 75 gallon tank in a day!

I got one of these bad guys for my turtle tank which is always a nasty mess with turtle droppings and the food they eat turtles and threw some kind of mud destroyer. My pool looks great today! Clean water and land! Something I've rarely seen with my $100 canister filter! I still have the canister going, but am thinking of buying another one of these pups and getting rid of the canister altogether! You can even try just this filter for a few days and see if it works! The airflow is really good…

Needed to replace an old Fluval submersible pump for a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium. Upon researching and reading good reviews, some thought the tank was too strong for a 55 gallon tank. The pump is very well made and comes with a wide range of outlet nozzles. This feature was great as it is rated for 80 gallons, it was too strong with a simple "snout" attachment, but with the included pipe section with (5) small holes and a rubber stopper it was perfect. It absorbed the initial volume and…

Good product! Be careful when you have sand.

I have a turtle and some fish in a 75 gallon aquarium. I used the fish filter they gave me for the aquarium and it didn't work well on my turtle, it was noisy and difficult to reach. I've been looking for a new filter for a long time and finally decided on this one. I've noticed a lot of people say it's very quiet and that's absolutely true! When I first installed the filter I had sand at the bottom of the tank, my turtle loved digging in it, kept getting stuck in the filter and fiddling with…

i have used many other filters on my turtle, mostly bought from local pet stores and none of them worked as well like this device! I currently use it in a 100 gallon tank and it filters it easily. When I dip my hand in the water, I can feel the water a little more than halfway to the other side of the tank, which is extremely impressive given the device's $35 price tag. The instructions were a little confusing, but once I saw the carrying case (carbon), the blank white tray and the lid, it all…
