Bought for my Acer Chromebook 14 after my puppies ate my original cable. As a last resort, I bought a $50 Insignia from Best Buy while waiting for Amazon's $9.99 to arrive. Neither connector fits flush or like the original BUT for 9.99 I will keep this cable and buy another as a backup and both will still be a huge savings over the Insignia. I've only had the cable for about a week and it worked really well, but I noticed when I first used it and plugged my laptop in for the night - after I unplugged it, the indicator said I only had 4 hours of battery life would have . Startled, I turned it on and off for about 10 minutes, the number of hours left for battery life fluctuated wildly - it ended up showing 6 hours plus and I went to work with the cable in tow. Since then I haven't noticed any low battery hours after charging it for a long time. Only 4 stars because it doesn't fit flush and I don't think a week is long enough to rate it.
