Review on Rocky Mountain Radar Judge Detector by Christopher Isaac

Revainrating 5 out of 5

saved my life suitable for automotive and automotive electronics

Good. I think a lot of people misunderstand what a "radar detector" is. It's one. It doesn't allow you to jump around, drive like a madman with no responsibility. The "false alarms" you are talking about are most likely real alarms. Motion detectors that are everywhere in cities (banks, pharmacies, Wally World, etc.). They use motion detection for their alarms and to open doors for our lazy asses. Switching to "Urban" mode reduces many of them, but doesn't eliminate them. It doesn't "shuffle" anything sent back to your cop buddies car. However, it scatters the return signals a bit. Don't expect anything other than a radar detector. It informs you about different ranges of the most commonly used radars and lasers. It saved my life. In dense fog, the sound warned me. I slowed down just in time to NOT hit a police car that was pulled over for another accident on the road.

Pros
  • OLED dot matrix display. You don't have to take your eyes off the road!
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging
