Lock & Lock containers are awesome! I've been using them for over 15 years. They really help food stay fresher for longer. This size is very convenient for cheese and charcuterie, as well as mushrooms, cherries, etc. We use lock-and-lock on the fruits and vegetables we grow to keep in the fridge for about a day until we have enough for canning, frozen or dehydrated. In the long run it's a lot more economical than plastic bags and more economical because you'll be using them over and over again. They fold neatly in the fridge or pantry, making it easy to see and find what you have. Keeps cookies, crackers and snacks fresh. Thousands of applications and you can get them in almost any size imaginable. We prefer rectangular and square shapes to round ones because they stack better. Hand wash or put in the dishwasher as you prefer and they are easy to clean. It's best not to reheat foods like curries or tomato-based dishes in it, as these foods tend to discolor or stain almost any type of plastic, even strong curls. They also work great in the freezer.
