I considered trying them before a tighter swaddling. Lightweight and works well. Bought many different types and all have good and bad qualities. After trying a few I think this is the only way to find out what works best for you and your child. They are difficult to put on and take off for a diaper change but I thought about it before buying. If you need to hold your hands, there are safer options, although this fits snugly but is not enough to prevent the baby's hands from falling out. *Now that my baby is almost 3 months old and swaddling is not that safe anymore, this works very well! I love her now that it's warm outside and he's out of his full diaper. They fit snugly up to the armpits and don't allow him to kick as happens when we haven't swaddled at all. Goodbye!
