This case looks and feels more expensive than it is. I use it for my iPad Pro 9.7 and love that there is a front pocket for an Apple Pencil. The iPad compartment is well protected and spacious. I have a smart case on my iPad, but it has enough room for an iPad with a thicker case. Or my iPad plus Kindle Paperwhite. The reason I went with this (besides looks) is because of the "portrait" orientation of the zipper instead of "landscape". I love having the zipper where it is so I can turn my iPad upside down, leave the zipper unzipped, and charge my iPad while it's protected on my desk or counter. Edited July 17th: I just bought another one for our 2017 iPad and it's the same high quality as the one I'm still using on my iPad Pro.
