I have a coffee color in a large size, I wear men's shoes 11.5-12. They felt thicker than I wanted when I first took them out of the box - I have a basket full of socks that I hate because they add too much volume or padding which makes my feet feel squashed in my shoes . Or they squeeze my toes uncomfortably. They don't do either, they compress nicely and add a little volume to your feet when you put the shoes on. And they are incredibly comfortable on my skin and keep my feet cool. These are the best socks I've found in a long time. These are not no show socks, they are worn just above the ankles. It is recommended to wash them first but I didn't, I immediately wore a pair for a walk and they felt great. Wore them all day and loved them. If they prove weak I will update the rating and change the star rating but for now it's definitely 5 stars. I will order more.
