Review on 🪑 Baxton Studio A-136-J001 Ottoman - 25L x 22W x 17H - Brown Ottomans by Bobby Montoya

I haven't had it for a very long time but at the moment I can say this is a very nice and well built ottoman. Lots of storage space. Depth is approximately 5 3/4 inches. I stored all my remotes, game controllers, some games, some movies and batteries. Thick pillow. The pillow is quite firm. Much stronger than my old ottoman but I think that's probably a good thing. Maybe it will soften over time. The measurement from the bottom to the top of the pillow is approximately 16 inches. Perfect height for my sofa. Has good weight. Not easy to tip over. It came from Fedex, which surprised me. I sure thought they would use the courier. I don't think the Fedex guy was overly excited. Took 3 days to get to me with a two day delivery of Revain Prime. Exactly what they said. That's all I have at the moment. Update: 02/12/2011 I deduct 2 stars. I've had it for almost two years and the top and bottom corners are starting to fray. I really didn't think I'd hit it that hard. I have another leather stool that is probably 30 years old and has perfect edges. When I look at the frayed edges on this one, it almost doesn't look like leather. It's actually like a thin layer of plastic on top of another material. I can take it off and it stretches. Very embarrassing. Still decent storage space to put your feet up and grab a bite to eat but doesn't look as good as it did originally and I wonder how long it will last. Update: 01/14/2014 Almost 4 years already and still. The corners are a bit more worn but not as bad as I was expecting at the moment. The rest still looks good. The upper looks pretty good and is the most commonly used. It is not cut or worn. After 4 years it is still very hard. I always step on it with my feet and sometimes I have a warm plate of food on it. And sometimes a cup of hot tea or coffee. Although I do see a couple of very small, cup-sized annular indentations. Maybe those cups were too hot. The hinges are still good. I have tons of stuff in this thing and I go in it often. At least several times a week. Still a great stool. Only frozen in the corners. I give one star for durability.
