Read this review as I will answer your questions. I've been using Prime for a decade but don't write enough reviews. As soon as I connected this monitor, I had to do it immediately. Many of these third party brands do not ship. I researched portable monitors for several weeks. I don't think the device gets enough marketing. As a sales engineer, techie, and gamer, I know what I'm talking about. The packaging of this product was great, they provided all the cables required. USB-c to USB-c that can be used from the monitor to devices whose USB-C port supports video transmission (which my HP Pavilion doesn't support over the USB-C port). The monitor needs video and power sent to it. If your device supports video over USB-C, the monitor can be powered and displayed through a single USB-C to USB-C connection. If your device doesn't support it, you can use the included mini HDMI to regular HDMI cable. Mini HDMI connects to the side of the monitor while regular HDMI connects to your device (be it a laptop or gaming system). I then connected it using USB-C to USB-C from the USB-C plugged into the monitor and the USB-A plugged into my laptop, but you can also plug that USB into the included wall charger and plug into a power outlet (just like charging for phone) The monitor has USB-C ports. One is fully functional, it can be used for video and power, the other for power only. Let's say I connected my mobile phone (Android) to the monitor using a USB-C to USB-C cable through a full-featured port on the monitor. I would unplug my phone and monitor from my phone monitor and battery. This also allows me to use the USB-C-only port to plug into the wall to charge both devices or power them when I'm using my phone and monitor. The picture is fantastic, the montage is excellent. It comes with a pouch that looks more like a folding case. Keeps the screen clean, it's slightly magnetic so I can use it as a screen stand. It is not bulky, there will be no fall protection. I imagine it might fall/close if you put it on an unstable table (like a flat folding table in turbulence). But the fact that he came up with it is a bonus for me. It also comes with a microfiber cleaning cloth and screen protector that you can put on! Who does it? Too bad they didn't make phones. I am very happy with this screen and product. Super easy connection, just like connecting a computer to a regular monitor. A++. well done lepov
