Almost perfect, but good luck with those elegant knobs

This hair dryer is almost a dream. It's powerful yet quiet (think soft, faint noises versus the tinny screech of a hair dryer), it's velvety smooth thanks to its non-slip matte finish, feels great in the hand, and delivers what it promises for silky shiny hair ( what I did). not expecting). know that my damaged hair is still able!). However - and I hate this because I'm otherwise in love with this hair dryer - the temperature and speed buttons are glossy and flat with a recessed (why?!) horizontal line down the center of each button. When your fingers have product or moisture in them (you know literally everyone does that when drying wet hair), your assigned finger knob will slide like Bambi on arctic ice. I either need to dry my hands vigorously (and even then that's usually not enough) or hope they dry to get enough grip to change the settings. And since that's not possible with wet hair, I instead grab the outside edge of the button with my fingernail and get it moving, which is a little painful and still requires me to stop what I'm doing and use the dryer hold alone so I can stick a nail in with my other hand. I just don't get it: all we had to do was highlight that sunken horizontal line in each button so our fingertips could press something. Or rocker switch. Or heck, literally every other design on literally every other hair dryer I've ever owned. There is a design flaw here. frighteningly terrible. Instead of a five star hair dryer that I will praise from the hills, I have a great hair dryer that does what it says on the tin and is very hard to work with. It's doing so well with my hair that I'm keeping it. But please, I don't start fighting my dryer every day.
