First of all, the performance of this notebook is excellent. The i5-9300h will be able to handle pretty much all but the heaviest tasks, while the GTX 1650 can handle more games, although the most graphically intensive games will require medium to low settings. Although I only have 8GB of RAM, this has never been an issue for my usage (web surfing, college work, occasional gaming). Again, this isn't the most powerful laptop, but its performance is probably well above average. Battery life is surprisingly good for a gaming laptop, especially at reduced voltage (which I did at -125mV if you're wondering) and it also runs relatively cool and rarely goes above 80CI in person, really like the minimalist design with it Blue accents instead of "gamer" red so it doesn't draw too much attention in a professional meeting. The screen bezels are also relatively small, and while the color space is obviously not the best, it either doesn't matter or isn't even obvious to me (if you've seen the reviews criticizing it). If you're interested in graphic design, maybe this could make a difference. The hinge is strong and can be bent 180 degrees. It's not a touchscreen laptop, but it has a few uses, like watching videos in bed or something like that. The system is also very thin for a gaming laptop and easy to carry, which is a great design choice. What. The keyboard isn't very clicky and travel is a bit short. It takes a while to get used to, but eventually you can get used to it. But the backlit keyboard is good. Unfortunately, the trackpad uses junk Synaptics drivers. I played around with the registry a bit to add a few gestures, but based on Windows Precision, the trackpad is definitely a big downgrade from Precision for me. I tried installing the Precision drivers and they worked temporarily (excellent, may I add) because I believe there is something in the Windows update that really ties you to the Synaptics drivers. While there are definitely some sacrifices (including some I don't carry (e.g. buying a separate cable if you want to add a hard drive or only have one RAM slot), overall I think this laptop represents a fantastic value $680 You get what you pay for in some areas, but at $680 this laptop can do a lot more than others.
