I usually do most of my work from my home office and the space where I work doesn't get warm at all. I was looking for a compact heater that would work in the space and this one looked to fit the bill. It is tall and slim and its foot print doesn't require lots of space. What I didn't realize, out of the box, is that this heater has a oscillation feature! So I don't have to have the heat blowing at me from one direction continuously. It has a pretty wide oscillation range and offers several heating options. So far, I have only used the lowest setting in the little space I sit but at a higher setting could definitely heat a entire smaller room. My only caution is to make sure you don't put this heater right next to a wall or other item and to make sure you give it more than enough proximity space because it will get hot enough to warp plastic or cause fires!
