The heater quickly gets really warm, even on the lowest setting. It has an internal thermometer so it can be set and won’t over or underheat. I’ve found that it doesn’t just heat the air and dissipate, but it actually warms furniture and walls in the room. Once it turns off the room stays warm for quite a while afterward. We’ve been getting a lot of very cold weather in the morning and this helps in taking the bite out of the air until it warms in the afternoon.I really like the oscillating feature (which has a pretty large range) because even on low, when it’s directly on you, it’s quite toasty. It has a nice, easy-to-hold handle so I can easily take it from room to room. It also comes with a wire handle that you can quickly attach if you want to hang it up in the garage. The knobs turn smoothly - nothing cheap here. The body is made of plastic but overall it feels very well-made and stable. It’s not overly sensitive to tipping and stopping. I’ve had others that barely get touched and they shut off. I’d say this is sensitive enough to tipping to make me feel secure, but not so much that I’m continually having to make sure it’s still on or turn it back on. The base is round and sturdy - wider than the heater as a whole but not so thick that it’s a trip hazard.Overall it’s a nice, high-quality, good-looking heater. This will be my go-to room warmer when I don’t want to turn the heat on in the whole house.UPDATE: This has become the go-to heater in my office. It's the perfect blend between the typical forced air space heaters and a radiator-style radiant heater. I've found that forced air space heaters dry the air too much and also cool down instantly if you turn it off, so it ends up being a freeze or roast situation. And radiator-style heaters take forever to heat everything. This one is the best of both worlds without any of the drawbacks. I can feel the direct, wonderful heat right on me as it heats up, so instant warmth, and it also heats everything in the room (furniture, walls, etc.) so it stays comfortable when it cycles off.
