I had to put her blanket on the bed (which I wanted to get rid of) so that she understands that she should sleep on it and not under it. Now she is happy and can lie on the bed and bask in the sun and look around the garden for bugs and birds. Really nice cat bed that matches our decor and appears to be made of quality material. The material of the bed is strong, but neither soft nor soft. It seems like an attractive material for her claws, so I would expect it to crack over time. When I take them apart I just don't like that you have to unscrew the top bars to take the hammock off for washing. Actually, for the price, it's just perfect!
