Like many photographers, I've accumulated a few tripods over the years. I have long been a fan of M and S brand tripods. This is my first experience with arrow tripods. A bit expensive to be honest but in the end I think it's a good price. The overall construction and finishes are good. My only negative comment is how the tripods tilt/swivel down for the boom tilt feature. The stops that coincide when the locking knob is tightened could be spaced closer together, I think. The monopod function seems like a great feature. I consciously chose this tripod for the convenience and novelty of the arm and monopod function. As a monopod, the boom attached to the detachable leg is light, very light without the head, at 6'++ I can't use the viewfinder on my DSLRs and fully extended DSLRs. After all, I find this device very valuable. A similar tripod plus monopod would cost more.
