Super compact and portable, we love these chairs! My son-in-law had a campground (on mules and horses, not a campground) in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. It was the chair everyone was fighting over. When we got home I bought two for myself and my husband, they have a supportive high back so my almost crippled husband can sit comfortably in them. We used them at the beach all summer and they were easy to pack. I wish they had armrests and feet so they don't sink into the sand, but that's a compromise because they're so light and compact.
