Review on Smart Factory eKanban by George Miller
Great tool once you get used too using and understanding
It’s very easy to use because it's so intuitive! The visual representation of work in progress (WIP) boards are especially helpful for keeping track of tasks that have been assigned or need attention from my team members.
I wish there was more customization options available at this time but overall we're quite happy with how things currently stand. We've realized substantial improvements since implementing KanBan into our production process as well as being able to see what stage each task/project has reached within its particular WOI board which helps us stay organized throughout all phases of projects.
Pros
- Highly adaptable
- Easy, effective interface; great way keep upkeep over large teams.
- Visual representations make project tracking much easier than other methods such Excel spreadsheets can be used across platforms like cloud storage apps etc
Cons
- Not particularly user friendly when first starting out
- Some limited reporting capabilities
