Not a great teether

Thought this would be a good teething toy for my 5mo daughter, but it’s a lot harder plastic than I expected- even the rubber parts are more like hard plastic. It twists in kind of a cool way, so maybe she’ll eventually use it as a miscellaneous toy, but not as a teether. Also you aren’t supposed to let it soak to wash or use the dishwasher, presumably because of where each section connects water might be able to get into the cracks? It’s pretty inconvenient that I can’t wash it alongside all of her other toys, and it makes me worried that it really isn’t getting clean enough for being a toy she’s supposed to chew on. I’ll keep it but I wouldn’t buy it again or recommend it, at least not for a teether.
