More than expected!
Not terrible, but definitely not perfect. I don't know how to put it, but the case makes your pencil longer and bigger. You definitely won't lose it. But you can attract attention when you use it. However, I will keep it anyway. It works and I like being able to protect my pencil. Doesn't fully retract unless you pump it up with a couple of strings, then it goes in fully. If like me you like using feathers on the tip, remember this won't work.
