The order comes with a pair of black gloves. Fingerless gloves, fingertips are cut off completely, leaving your nails exposed for buffing. The gloves protect hands from the UV radiation on the skin of the LED/UV nail curing lamp. I'm not sure how much damage exposure does, but I usually paint my nails every two weeks and hold my hands and feet under a lamp for 2 minutes for each coat to keep hands well protected. Gloves are elastic. and stretches easily. It's quite comfortable to wear. This is a one size fits all hand size. I have really long fingers so the skin on my fingers is a bit larger than I would like. However, I would say 80% of my hand is covered and protected.
