Review on 🍊 KitchenAid JE Citrus Juice Extractor Attachment by Jeremy Sabey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent KitchenAid nozzle

I read dozens of questions and answers and reviews before purchasing. The main concerns were comments about black oil on a stick, excessive splashing and juice running down the hands. I'm short and have always enjoyed my standalone Black and Decker at my desk (not on a higher counter). There were no problems in this category. Testing the splatter issue I know even my B&D had splatter so I was ready for some. There was actually a little spatter, much less than my B&D, probably due to the design of the fender. I live in a region that grows citrus, I have several trees so I have a lot of fruit at once (I had at least 100 ripe grapefruits that needed to be squeezed out of the juice). Knowing I was going to get gallons of juice, I placed the bowl that came with my blender under the spout, which I think solved the splattering problem. I found that there was more spatter at higher speeds, but even at the highest speeds it was extremely minimal in my case. No juicer will NEVER be spill-free. One downside: due to the amount of fruit I had to squeeze, the seed/pulp trap filled up too quickly, so I removed it and placed a fine mesh strainer in the bowl, resulting in less removal and draining. As for the black oil on the stick, I found the same as the others, but it stayed on the stick past the juicing area and never touched the food. This is a genuine KitchenAid juicer attachment and I highly recommend it.
