This panel is undoubtedly a good panel; However, you can get the same panel (with a better refresh rate) for a lot less money from LG without a poorly implemented KVM. If you want a good KVM you should probably look elsewhere or buy the LG panel version and a quality external KVM that actually works. Problems with KVM: So what's wrong with KVM? It periodically disconnects USB, killing my mouse and keyboard input and forcing me to either turn off the monitor or toggle (using the buttons on the monitor) between inputs to bring it back online. It also caused my Dell Precision Tower 5810 and 2019 MacBook Pro 16 video adapters to randomly crash and stop video output. I think the overcurrent protection is tripping on the display adapter. A Mac is a laptop, so I can just turn it off and it goes back to the laptop control panel. In the desktop case, I have to use Remote Desktop from my Mac to Dell, go to Device Manager and disable/enable (or reboot) the display adapter to recover the video. Obviously, these errors are completely disqualifying. Reason to buy the 38 inch version. I really wanted a Dell U3818DW instead but thanks to COVID they were all sold out so I bought this one.
