I love this pillowcase. I chose this one because it is handmade with french stitching and uses an envelope closure instead of a zipper. Most brands use a zipper as I think it's more cost effective for them as they use less fabric but I have used a silk pillowcase before from a well known upscale company and was disappointed to find their seams frayed and the cover ended up tearing . zipper seam. On the other hand, this pillowcase is made of luxurious silk that is as soft and not flimsy as other silks, and large in size with an envelope closure that ensures the pillow stays securely in the pillowcase and there's no ugly zipper to break . Silk. My case is navy blue, it's gorgeous and a deep rich color. My hair doesn't tangle when I wake up and the biggest plus is the lack of a sleep line, which my skin and mirror really appreciate.
