The skirt is fully consistent with the picture. The material is very high quality, soft and shiny. Although somewhat see-through, the material is thick enough not to show through. I have no intention of wearing overalls with him. The skirt is a bit long (I'm 5ft 2in) but I plan to roll up my waist a couple of times. The skirt has already been washed in cold water on the gentle cycle and tumble dried on low heat, no problem.
