Review on 💧 Schneider Electric Square D FSG2J21CP Pumptrol Water Pressure Switch - 30-50 PSI, Grey Cover by Shane Ryder

When my pressure sensor failed I decided to try the Square D with low pressure shut off. Unfortunately, every time the washing machine was turned on, the low-pressure function kicked in and required a manual reset. I contacted the manufacturer about the issue and was told that "this sometimes happens on some systems and we're not sure why". Her advice was to replace the low pressure shutoff type with this one, which I did and it works with no problems. I would add though that the pump fired at 38lbs instead of 30lbs when it was first installed. I was tempted to set the switch and decided to give it a week or two instead and of course at the next check it would activate the pump. properly inflate at 30 pounds. So don't rush to mess around with the settings.
