My first experience with rare earth magnets. Pictures and memo attached to the fridge magnets they ain’t.I had a composite 58” long Venetian blind valance that was mounted with plastic clips. These clips are just about worthless. Trying to adjust the valance them breaks them. So I gave up. Then I thought I’d try standard Velcro. Didn’t work. Then industrial strength Velcro no good either. Then I saw a you tube video for rare earth magnets. The aha moment! Did some searching on ebay and "ta da” found a six pack of these and thought I’d give them a try. ebay shipped them same day. I was anxious to mount them to the valance and then to the steel Venetian blind cornice (?). The magnets came with 3M 2side sticky tape which I used to attach each magnet to each end of the composite valance with one in the center. When I got close to the blind pocket the valance almost jumped out of my hands and attached itself to that steel cornice. Wow! Just some minimal adjusting and done! The whole process less than 20 minutes. If you have to attach something to steel, try these bad boys. But caution - the magnets are so strong they are difficult to handle, especially with a little arthritis in your fingers. But hey, they fixed an impossible problem. Wish I would have known about them to start with. Thanks for such a cool product.
