Nice and Bright!: Bulbs and Headlight Assemblies

So I'm not sure why Harley puts such poor lighting on most of their bikes, oh wait yeah I know. They hope you buy their $500 upgrade. which can be purchased through another motorcycle parts supplier for half that amount. However, they do an excellent job! I have friends who tell me that the upgraded headlight on my Sportster is bright enough for them to pass behind me, and that light is even BETTER than this one. With all the talk of how the high beams work on these LED headlights, I'm wondering if I have a fluke. My high beam is definitely better than the low beam. If you don't like the stock lightbulbs on your bike, they should fix the problem. If you are looking for the best LED headlight, I wish you the best of luck in your search. IMO, start your attempts with the cheapest you can find that has a decent rating, then work your way up. Only you know what you are looking for. They do pretty well for me. After installing it on my 2015 Street Glide Special, I had to go back to the accessory port and replace it with the two (2) adapters that came with this light. I figured I could get away with just swapping out the first plug that was built in, but no luck. All in all maybe 15 minutes to change places. Oh, and make sure the connectors are seated securely in the wiring harness. Mine broke the first time it was plugged in, resulting in a bad connection. No more problems since I fixed that little bug and I drive at night quite a bit.
