Review on Protective Leather Smart Case Cover For IPad 9.7 (2018/2017) & Air - Auto Wake/Sleep Flip Stand Design by Ricky Brooks

I loved this case when I first received it. The material is nice and it has a very professional look. After about a year I have two issues that keep me from recommending.1. The auto on doesn't usually work. I'm not sure if the magnets are too weak but it just doesn't work.2. The second problem is worse. I had my iPad on a desk in the open position. It took a fall off the desk of about 2 1/2 feet and I ended up with a dented corner. (See picture). The problem is the case doesn't really wrap to protect the corners. The leather simple extends a bit. If the case was closed it probably would have been ok but even the outside edges are the same.UPDATE:I just wanted to update my star review. While I usually like to separate out the company and product, Snugg reached out to me to try and keep me a Snugg customer. They obviously couldn't replace the iPad (no company would) but they offered a replacement case in the event mine was defective. I didn't expect this and was pleasantly surprised.My advice on this case is that it's still a very nice looking case and closed, offers more protection than the thin cover (or worse, smart cover) from Apple. If you get it, use some care when it's open.I would recommend a case that offers better corner protection.
