I bought this block to replace one that cracked after 70,000 miles. After a week I noticed that the sensor was working adequately with the fan turning on within the acceptable temperature range and the engine temp gauge reading almost halfway down the scale, maybe 1/8th of the full scale lower than the previous unit. If you are working on a 2.7L Chrysler Convertible I highly recommend purchasing and using a cable operated hose clamp compression tool. An acceptable tool costs less than $40 and makes the job a lot easier. The hoses and clamps are so hard to reach and it really is the only easy way to drain the radiator for a flush. There is a video on YouTube and you can replace the block by loosening the bolts after moving the intake manifold or using an 8mm flex head ratchet wrench. You must flush and prime the cooling system and use HOAT G-05 type antifreeze. I used one gallon for a system capacity of about two gallons.
