Not good for cleaning or scraping

I use this to wash dishes that don't have food, sauces or anything that would be difficult to clean. Scratching or pressure with silicone bristles will not remove food. I use it to wash glasses that just had liquid in them, plates that are rinsed or just covered with crumbs, and cutlery that has no leftover food on it. I feel better because there isn't as much bacteria in there as there is in a sponge.
