First of all, you need to make sure that these fairy lights only work via USB. AC adapter is NOT included. This kit contains many small parts. Because of this, it wouldn't be a good idea to try to piece it together when you're around young children. There are thirty lights and the cord is 10 feet long. It definitely has an "Asian feel". . . .probably because it is made in China. At the current price of twenty dollars I find it a little pricey but the end result looks good and can be used to decorate a headboard. . . Bookshelf. . . .Writing desk. . etc.
